Remembrance Pebbles

We have been remembering those who lost their lives during WW1. We have painted special pebbles with poppies and collaborated with Kingston museum who researched and gave us the names of local people who died in the war. Year 5 and 6 have inscribed these names on our remembrance poppies which are on display at the entrance of the school. Some of the pebbles will be used for a display at the Borough Remembrance Reception on Sunday 11th November, attended by the Mayor. The pebbles will  be moved to a more permanent display in the school grounds after Remembrance Sunday.
