The school is committed to all aspects of Safeguarding. We have three Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) who support children and families in accessing help and support through a range of services including Family Support and other Children’s Services.
Our Designated Safeguarding Leads are: Emily Newton, Alice Govan and Denise Ramkissoon. Posters with photos of our three DSLs are displayed around our school and in our main office area. Every local authority has a statutory responsibility to have a Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) who is responsible for co-ordinating the response to concerns that an adult who works with children may have caused, or could cause, them harm.
