Y2 Pupil Report -Buckingham Palace
On Thursday the 12th of March we walked to Kingston train station to catch the train to Vauxhall and then onto Green Park. When we got into Green park we found a nice picnic spot and ate our lunch.
When we were finished our lunch we walked to Buckingham palace and stood by the fence. A Welsh Guard was patrolling the fence line. We learnt that the Queen was actually inside because the Royal Standard was flying. We were really really excited!
We were so excited when we saw the Royal carriage drive in with ambassadors from Kuwait inside.
After that we walked to the Royal Mews and to meet Jane and go through a security scanner. The first thing we did was visit the learning room. Next we were able to see the horses and luckily we had juts enough time to see a royal car!
Finally we traveled back to school, happy but exhausted!
