Safeguarding

The school is committed to all aspects of Safeguarding. We have three Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) who support children and families in accessing help and support through a range of services including Family Support and other Children’s Services.

Our Designated Safeguarding Leads are: Emily Newton, Alice Govan and Denise Ramkissoon.  Posters with photos of our three DSLs are displayed around our school and in our main office area. Jess Castellino is our Governor with responsibility for Safeguarding. DSLs can be contacted on the school phone number 020 8546 8210, or the main email address: admin@kingathelstan.rbksch.org

Please come and talk to us if you feel your child/ren and family would benefit from support or if you have concerns that another child or family are experiencing issues that would benefit from support.

Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO)

Every local authority has a statutory responsibility to have a Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) who is responsible for co-ordinating the response to concerns that an adult who works with children may have caused, or could cause, them harm.
