Breakfast and After School Provisions

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club is open 7.45 to 8.45 daily, and is located in the King Athelstan Centre at the back of the School (access at the back of the car park). 

The children are given a choice of breakfasts such as cereals, fruit, toast, milkshakes and juice and undertake a mixture of fun and educational activities.

The charge is currently £6.50 per day. The Breakfast Club is run by King Athelstan Staff, and there is space for a maximum of 24 children Monday – Thursday, and 16 on a Friday.  

Register to join the Breakfast Club

A registration form must be completed by a Parent/Carer before the child can attend their first Breakfast Club.

Once you have registered please allow 48 working hours for Breakfast Club to be available on your ParentPay Account.

Bookings and Cancellations

Breakfast club sessions must be pre-booked and paid for on ParentPay in advance.

Bookings must be made by midnight on Thursday for attendance the following week.

Breakfast Club can be cancelled up to 15:30 on the day before the booked session. A credit will be added to the child’s ParentPay account.

 Cancellation after this time is non-refundable based on staffing and resources already put in place.

KOOSA Kids After School Club 

KOOSA Kids After School Club at King Athelstan Primary School runs every school day from school finish until 6.00pm.  The club is based from the main School Hall and King Athelstan Centre and is fully Ofsted registered.

Children are able to choose from a host of activities including Construction Games, Art Tables, Role Play, Book Corners, Puzzles, Train Sets, Play Mats and a large selection of active games such as Football, Hockey, Rounders and much more. A healthy and nutritious snack is provided (e.g. toast, crumpets / crackers & a whole piece of fruit or vegetable).

Book for single or multiple sessions up to 6.00pm the working day before, and if your requirements are fixed, we can offer a ‘permanent places agreement’ to guarantee your sessions each half term.
