Breakfast, After School and Holiday Playschemes

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club is open 7.45 to 8.45 daily, and is located in the King Athelstan Centre at the back of the School (access at the back of the car park).  The children are given a choice of breakfasts such as cereals, fruit, toast, milkshakes and juice and undertake a mixture of fun and educational activities.

The charge is currently £6.50 per day. The Breakfast Club is run by King Athelstan Staff, and there is space for a maximum of 16 children.  A registration form must be completed by a Parent/Carer before the child can attend their first Breakfast Club. The form can be completed here:  Once you have registered, all sessions must be pre-booked and paid for on ParentPay by 9.00am every Thursday for attendance the following week.

After School Club - not running in January 2021

The After School Club runs during term time and is operated by the YMCA. It is also located in the King Athelstan Centre at the back of the school. It is a fun filled afternoon providing the children the freedom and opportunities to learn through play. They have the opportunity to participate in free play activities to encourage their creativity, imagination and social skills and also adult lead activities such as group games and cooking. The children are provided with a small afternoon snack (this is not a supplement to a evening meal).

Children are collected from their class by the After School Club staff and the YMCA will care for them until 6.00pm

The charge is £11.50 per child per afternoon. A sibling is £10.35 per session.

YMCA have now moved away from parents and carers completing hard copies of registration and consent forms. This process to be done electronically online. Please see below for a step by step guide to using this system. This is the new booking link:

On the website parents/carers can get the following documents:
