Outdoor Learning Environment

We are delighted that work is now underway for our Big Outdoors Project and we would like to take this opportunity to share the final designs for the outdoor learning environment (attached below).

A fantastic new MUGA (Multi-Use Games Area) has already been installed (right). The PCSA have planted new hedging around the perimeter of the school to help with our green environment (see below). Work on the rest of the playground commenced after Easter when the lockdown permitted.

The designs for the playgrounds are ambitious and fulfil all our requirements for providing our children with a rich, inspiring environment in which they can learn, play and relax. Phase 1 has now begun and should be completed soon.

However, further funding is required for the next phases of the project. We know it is difficult at the moment, but if you are able to support us in raising funds to create our dream outdoor environment, then your donation or support would be greatly appreciated.

If you would like to make a donation please go to:

At King Athelstan we ‘dream big’ and the final outdoor learning environment will certainly be an incredible addition to our school.
