Year 5 BP Challenge!

On Monday 23rd Year 5 took part in a BP Challenge Science Lesson.
The children were given the task of being engineers and constructing an 'oil rig' from marshmallows and straws using as little cost as possible. The children were told that each item (marshmallow or straw) was £1000,000!
The children worked hard to create their 'oil rig' and watched eagerly as the final designs were tested with weights.
The winning team received a prize and Year 5 really enjoyed the challenge and seeing their class mates designs.
